When you travel you generally eat!! much the same as you do when at home.
annhig, your obviously aware of the bean sprout issue, but I am sure there are alot of people who aren't, hence my posting.
You actually hit the nail on the head with your response, just don't eat raw bean sprouts.

Specifically it is fenugreek sprouts that are the problem, and not only in France.
Beansprouts - generally from mung beans seem to be OK.

Since most of Europe is aware of the problem the chances of you being offered them in a restaurant are very very small, and I doubt you'll find them in too many shops now either.

Nobody in France eats raw fenugreek bean sprouts anyway.

And it's been all over the news for weeks, so no one would serve them.

Yes, you would have to spend all of your time in vegan restaurants to see fenugreek sprouts in France, and such restaurants are few and far between.
