What has this got to do with a travel forum???
When you travel you generally eat!! much the same as you do when at home. annhig, your obviously aware of the bean sprout issue, but I am sure there are alot of people who aren't, hence my posting. You actually hit the nail on the head with your response, just don't eat raw bean sprouts. |
Specifically it is fenugreek sprouts that are the problem, and not only in France.
Beansprouts - generally from mung beans seem to be OK. Since most of Europe is aware of the problem the chances of you being offered them in a restaurant are very very small, and I doubt you'll find them in too many shops now either. |
Nobody in France eats raw fenugreek bean sprouts anyway.
And it's been all over the news for weeks, so no one would serve them. |
Yes, you would have to spend all of your time in vegan restaurants to see fenugreek sprouts in France, and such restaurants are few and far between.
