We have 4 days (3 nights) at the end of our honeymoon open and were hoping to find somewhere to relax and unwind before flying home out of Rome FCO. Are there any beach towns or resorts near Rome FCO that would be a quick trip back to the airport. (2 hours or less) we will be travelling from Venice to the area by train.

A few options would be Santa Marinella, Fregene, and Ladispoli (La Posta Vecchia Hotel is an expensive but romantic choice). There are COTRAL buses from Fiumicino.

Fregene is very close to Rome..I used to go there often when I was a teenager..
