battery charger question

I have an olympus li-10c battery charger for my camera. Will a hi-lo step down kit from AAA work? Is the charger hi or low? Output is 4.2v but it doesn't indicate wattage. Anyone? Help! Will be in Turin the first day-should I just try to buy a recharger there? THanks to the knowledgeable fodors forum folks!

The LI-10 charger is designed to operate on 100-240V, so all you need is a plug adaptor for Italian outlets.

Because it's a dual-voltage charger all you need is the appropriate plug end adapter.

Hi don,

If your charger says, "110-240" or something close, you only need an adapter.

Sorry to be so long, but thanks for your help and perfect advice. The kind desk clerk at Turin Hotel (Astoria-10-min. walk from station, busses in front and, aside from poor shower pressure, a good place) baby-sat the charger with adaptor plug and everything was just fine. Is it possible, it charged faster and stayed charged longer? Thanks again!
