Baggage Storage for few days at Heathrow

I will be visiting London for just a weekend on the way back home, and would like to store a suitcase at the airport for a few ( 2 1/2) days versus carrying it around with me.

Is this possible to do? And is it available in all of the terminals at Heathrow?

Yes, there is left luggage facilites at Heathrow. It is £6.50 per item per 24 hours.

If you're gonna be in London for a few days, can't you just bring your suitcase w/you to your hotel? It'll save you ~£20.

I may have a pretty heavy suitcase and rather leave it at the airport for a couple days than lugging it around. This way I can take the train to the city and back more comfortably.

Is there a specific terminal that deals with flights from London to the US?

I'm flying in from Spain or Portugal, and later flying back to the US. So, may have to drop the suitcase of at the flights to US terminal. I assume there is a shuttle between terminals.

No, depends on the airlines involved.

Drop-off and pick-up at the Terminal 4 left luggage stand took me precisely 5 minutes each earlier this week.

Note they'll give you about 10 min. "grace" over the 24 hr. period, after which it's another 6 and a half quid. (I was 20 min. late - ugh.)

They don't take credit cards, by the way.

The left luggage offices at the London airports and railway stations are run by this company:
