Backpacking through Italy. 20 days. Seeking partner!
Hi,
Im Alex, 22 from Sweden. This summer I´d like to travled through Italy landing in Milan the first of july and then backpack all the way to sicily and then back to rome to take the flight home.
However I would like to see if there are some other people who are going to backpack this summer? Maybe we can do it together?
I have lived in Italy for two years so my Italian is alright.
The only problem I have is where to sleep. Is it going to be a problem to sleep in a tent?
Ofcourse I could sleep at hostels when I really need to. Like when Im in big cities.

Not many backpackers on this board. In addition to the Thorntree on Lonely Planet, you might try the Rick Steves' board as they have a forum for finding a travel partner.

Buongiorno Alex! I just happened to stumble upon this while looking for blogs on backpacking through Italy. I will also be backpacking Italia this summer starting in June, however for 78 days instead of 20. I am 23 and will be going alone. My plans at this point are extremely laid back and I plan to just move around the country however I feel. I am staying in hostels mostly as well as using Couchsurfing.com for free couch stays. While we probably couldn't do the whole thing together I'd be more than happy to possibly meet somewhere and travel elsewhere? Let me know through here I guess
