Planning a Trip to Italy....

We are in need of advice for a 2 week journey to Italy to include Sicily. We thought starting in Venice then go to Florence then Rome and then onward toward Calabria and Sicily. Does this seem doable in 2 weeks? How would you divide up the time? Please advise...

I think you should start from Sicily because Sicily has direct train connections to the major cities on the Italian mainland, with one or two trains running the long-distance routes every day. You can manage your trip easily.

Doable if a Bit rushed by train

make more time spend 2-3 days in each place minimum.
