Are Navigo cards passe?

I just ran across my old one in a drawer. Haven't used it in many trips. Are they still in use?

You could just look at the RATP website or

Navigo - Tous mes déplacements en Île-de-France Passes Navigo, forfaits et contrats, gestion

NO, they aren't "passe".

How old is your card?
https://www.transilien.com/en/page-e...ecouverte-card
"RELOAD YOUR NAVIGO CARD" pull down says:
"Your Navigo Découverte is good for 10 years. Hold on to it: you can reload it as many times as you need."

If you mean Navigo Decouverte, the one where you have an ID card with your photo affixed along with the electronic card on which you lad the pass - yes, they are still in use.

That’s funny Julie, I found mine in my safe yesterday in an envelope of cards etc. Mine is now 10 years old so I guess if I get back to Paris I’ll need to update!

Thanks for all the replies. I can't seem to find a date on mine so I'm not sure whether it's 10 years old of not so I'll have to get it checked at a station. I'd forgotten about the validity from Monday to Sunday and several of the other complications of usage. On balance I'm thinking our needs will probably be best met by simply using carnets. Thanks for your help.

Julie, they now offer Navigo Easy cards which are loaded with 10 metro tickets, just like carnets, but you just have the one card. They are free and you load your carnets directly onto the ticket. Same price as a carnet. I believe they are transitioning to these cards to eventually get rid of the paper tickets.

If you have a current navigo decouverte, you can load daypasses on them now.

Easy enough to exchange your old navigo for a new one. I did last summer: you'll need a passport photo and that's it.

Paper tickets are what will be passé in another year.

The Navigo Easy has been introduced to store your tickets electronically (and for a cheaper fare).
