We stayed at Summerville Farmhouse, http://www.summerhillfm.com/ four years ago and really enjoyed it. It's only a mile or two from Ardmore. The B&B is on a working dairy farm, but we couldn't detect any evidence of that. Our hostess, who was very pleasant, served us some great, locally made cheese with our breakfast. If you get a chance, have dinner at the Round Tower Hotel, very quaint and tasty, too.

We stayed in a lovely little B&B called Colbert's right in town. I can't find the address and phone number, but will keep looking, the tourist office there should have the number. I think there were three rooms and the one we had was at the back overlooking a beautiful garden. It was very quiet, with parking, and an easy walk to the ocean, Paddy Mac's pub and the round tower.

Still looking for Colbert's address but did find some other possibilities on the Waterford home page.

Just a note on the Round Tower Hotel - we didn't stay there but had lunch. There were lots of English garden club types in the dining room (think Miss Marple and the Midsomer Murders), and the decor was faded but still elegant.
