Ennis or Quin Bed & Breakfast

Please recommend a nice B&B to stay at while we are visiting Ennis and Quin. For some reason I am having troubles finding something. We're willing to spend anywhere between 80 - 150 USD total. TIA!

In Ennis I've stayed at the TempleGate hotel http://www.templegatehotel.com at the Queens (a bit less expensive but noisy): my remedy for the noise level is to go next door to Cruise's Restaurant & Pub and be a part of the noisemaking. I've stayed at Abbey Tourist Hostal (great location) and at Rose Cottage B&B where Carmel Daniels was kind enough to make us an early breakfast so we could catch the 8:30 AM BusEireann to Shannon.

As you can see from their website, the Templegate is out of your price range. The Old Ground probably also ... I'd recommend Rose Cottage BUT only if you can get a room away from the Pub.

Sorry, I don't know Quin ...

We stayed at Grey Gables in Ennis. The web site is www.bed-n-breakfast-ireland.com We were very happy with it. Good location, good breakfast, big rooms, reasonably priced.

I stayed at the Lakeside Country Lodge outside of Ennis and enjoyed it very much. The rooms were large and the views to the lake and distant abbey were wonderful. I would definitely stay again.

In Ennis, my home a way from home is NewPark House, a 300+ year-old mansion on its own own acreage (http://www.newparkhouse.com/).

In centre of Quin Village, Abbey Tavern is a small inn/pub, right across from the old abbey.

Close by, Ardsollus Farm, Ballyhannon Castle, Dromoland Castle.
