apt or villa rentals in Tuscany

We are going to the Tuscany area for two weeks in Sept and would like to rent an apt or villa. Any suggestions for rental agents or specific rentals is most welcomed.
Thank you
Frances

Some friends have used Vacanza Bella several times and have always been completely satisfied with the accommodations and the personal service. vbella.com

Try untours.com they are setting up a rental comnpany. Friends have booked vacations through them and are very satisfied. Although I don't think their rental of villas website won't be up for another month or so.

fwpc02,
My favorite is La Crociona http://lacrociona.com/index.htm about 3 kilometers from Montalcino. The best place to check out apartments is Slow Trav http://www.slowtrav.com/italy/vr/reviews.asp Feel free to e-mail if you have questions.

For the Chianti area of Tuscany, try www.greve-in-chianti.com - there is a list of villas and apartments, large and small, plus some quite good info on what to see in that area.

My husband and I stayed at Le Manzinaie
(www.lemanzinaie.it) right outside of Montepulciano last May.

The hosts are great and we found it to be a great base for Tuscany.
