Yes, there are tons of websites, but take a look at La Foce. It is in one of my favorite areas: the Val d"orcia, also loved by others on this site.
In the town of San Quirico d'Orcia there are some nice apartments available, if you want to be in a town.

Check rental reviews, listings and information/notes on Slow Travel. Very helpful.

You are probably going to do this, but just in case, I suggest choosing an area and then finding your accomodation.

my friend had her wedding last summer at a beautiful place she rented through www.italiancollection.com, and that site has served me well on enough occasions too. They have english speaking staff and are prompt with replies. Here's a link to the specific villa which was just perfect, and a rare treat since it had a pool: http://www.italiancollection.com/en/Le-macchie.html
another good site is www.yourtuscany.com They specialize in the obvious and ask for Cinzia, she's terrific

HI; We used Villa Vacations and they were great to work with. They are a U.S. company along with Parker Villas mentioned above. Both Tuscany Now and Parker Villas will send you extensive catalogs. www.tuscanynow.com/ www.villavacations.com/ Slow Trav has extensive information. Keep in mind AC, because from June on, for us, it was a requirement. Richard

We used Tuscan Enterprises and were very happy with the whole process. We stayed at Il Palagio near Panzano and absolutely loved it. http://www.tuscanenterprises.com/

We found Casina di Rosa (http://www.casinadirosa.it) among the recommended accommodations on Slow Travel (http://www.slowtrav.com) and we have already rented it 3 years in a row. And we hope to go back in a couple of years. A lovely place, ideal location, and the owners are great. I am not sure if they work with some agency too: we contacted them directly.

I just came back from Relais Villa L'Olmo located in Impruneta, 12 KMs from Florence. It is a working farm and there are several types of apartments from which to choose. The reason we liked it was the local bus into Florence stops 30 meters from the entrance, and it is within walking distance of the town of Impruneta where there are several restaurants, shops and banks. From here we made day trips throughout Tuscany. The staff is wonderful and the apartments are well equipped. Here is the website for your perusal: www.relaisfarmhokiday.it

For owner-direct rentals, specialising in the Chianti Classico zone between Florence and Siena, and a site full of useful info and a good range of vacation rental options try http://www.greve-in-chianti.com We had one of our best vacations ever at a farm apartment that we found via this site.
