Apartments in Italy

My wife and I recently returned from Italy. We spent one week in Florence and one week in Rome. We tried something new and decided to try an apartment instead of a hotel. The apartments turned out to be a wonderful experience in both cities. The air-cond. was wonderful as were the people that we made arrangements with to rent. We rented an apt. on Lungarno Vespucci (8N) called the same and the balcony overlooked the Arno,it was clean and well equipped. The Rome apartment we rented was the Flavia 1 rooftop, Tim Pearson represented the owner and was kind, attentive, and very professional. We really had a great stay and enjoyed all the sites in spite of the heat.

Glad the apartments worked out for you, sjanota. We recently went the apartment route in Florence and Venice, as well, and don't think we'll go any other way again.

Sounds like you had a great trip, sjanota. Is there a website for the apartments you stayed at?

Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I am planning a three week trip next spring and would be interested in the apartments you rented. Also, did you have to climb stairs or was there a lift?
