Apartment or hotel in Seville?
We are planning for a week's stay in Seville during the first week of March.
1. Can anyone recommend an apartment for two in the city centre, preferably with a terrace or balcony just in case we are lucky with the weather?
2. Nice, centrally located hotel as an alternative to an apartment?
3. I realized just now that our visit will coincide with the Carnaval week since Easter is unusually late this year. In other countries (e.g. Germany) I would avoid this week but I don't know if this period is equally busy when compared with the Feria or not. All suggestions most welcome.

I don't think Carnaval is a big deal in Seville, or that they do anything that particular week. They have some events in February. But other cities in Spain are known for their caranavals, not Seville (like Cadiz or maybe Barcelona).
I stayed in Hotel Amadeus in Seville and it was a nice enough B&B in the Santa Cruz quarter, but nothing deluxe at all. Depends what level you are looking for

Thank you all. We're looking for a comfortable apartment, preferably with elevator and terrace or balcony. Epaulino, i think we may have found what we are looking for. The Sevilla5 website looks very good indeed. Where exactly did you stay?
