I replied to this two years' ago but have been back to Nice since. The first time we stayed at the Flore. Very pretty room but small. Parking was a block away and very pricey. We found transportation so great and cheap that the next time we went we did not have a car. We rented a two bedroom apt. through homelidays.com. We loved it! Some people might not like the location as it was close to the train station but we were only 15 minutes from the beach and old town. Last September we paid only 400 euros for one week. Parking would be difficult.
