Anyone used Just Airports lately?
I've used Just Airports in London before and have been very pleased with their service. I'm 99% certain I've always gotten the Saloon car - for 2 people with two 21" suitcases and two carry-ons (total).
Their website now says that, for anything over 2 suitcases, including carry-on luggage, you must book the Estate car.
Can anyone comment on this change - or have I just woken up in a new world (which is entirely possible!) and they've really always done it this way.

I would think that might mean two full-sized suitcases - like the 28 inch variety. I have yet to see a saloon that would not hold two 21-inch bags. If you have a question - e-mail or phone them.

I've used them several times and never needed an estate for just 1 or 2 people. Once they sent an estate but we didn't pay extra for it. I think it was just what was available at the time.
But anyone who travels w/ me travels light (I teach packing classes so they don't have a choice/excuse ) and we don't ever have larger than 21 inch bags. I don't take an add'l carry-on -- just a 19 or 21 inch bag and a purse -- maybe that's the difference.

We encountered that earlier this month, and like you, have previously taken JA saloon cars with 2 smallish suitcases and 2 laptop or messenger bags.
I was reasonably confident we'd have no problem fitting into a saloon, and didn't, but I did ask our driver about it.
He said the more explicitly stated and stringent luggage policy is really directed at groups of 3 or 4. Apparently many of the contracted drivers complained about trying to cram six or eight pieces of luggage into a sedan. Families with young kids needing to haul extra stuff were problematic too.
The price differential between a saloon and an estate car is only $8 which is not a huge increase (in London moreover) for 3 or 4 people to assure there's adequate space for gear.
You can and probably should call or email, but you might very well get a regurgitation of the company policy. Just saying, it went just fine for us. Hope it does for you too.
