anyone stayed in this tiny Tuscan village?
I booked my honeymoon at a villa in Brucciano (which the hotel site says is close to Mollazzana in the Garfagnana valley, a north-western region of Tuscany in the province of Lucca, one of the few places where man can still live in harmony with nature). It's about 2 hours from Florence, 1 from Cinque Terre. Anyone know anything about it? We went on the location--in the mountains (we want to do a lot of hiking), abut an hour from the beach, and near Florence, Lucca, Pisa, etc. Thanks!!

I don't think you'll find many people who've been to the Garfagnana, but we have and it's very beautiful. We didn't get to the village of Brucciano, but we did visit the general area and spent most of a beautiful day in the beautiful village of Barga. You can read about our trip and see some great pictures on our web site.

Bride,
I stayed in the Garfagna 3 years ago and am going back next Spring. It is a beautiful area, even if you aren't a hiker. I am not familiar with that particular village. We stayed in a house near Barga.
Have a wonderful honeymoon in the Garfagna!
