Mmmmmm. I love German food. But I've always thought it hard to find good German restaurants in the states...except in the big cities. I sure would like to find one or two in Paris...any recommendations?

Jeanne, look for an Alsacian restaurant in Paris. Not sure you could find a purely German restaurant in Paris, but there will be some Alscacian ones, which will be heavily influenced by German cooking.

Brasserie Lipp, on Blvd. St. Germain, is a popular Alsatian spot; great choucroute garnie.
