Anyone familiar with this Paris apartment?

Looking for something for Christmas, and having trouble finding anything open, but this one is available and well-located. Anyone know it and can share feedback?

Looks fairly nice -- great bathroom for Paris, I think. My biggest concern would be that it is a ground floor. I'd want to know exactly what it faced. Must you keep windows closed and locked and draperies drawn all the time for any privacy and safety?

Thanks for pointing that out. I have submitted these questions, and hopefully will get a response I'm comfortable with, because at $200 a night this place is a great deal for my family over the Christmas high season.

I won't venture an opinion on the apartment itself, but it is in a nice area and I found VinP easy to deal with and honest.

This was the reply I got from VinP " is a very secure building. You go through a coded entry door into the courtyard, then proceed to the entrance which is off the courtyard. I have actually stayed there on two occasions and it is very safe. The bedroom and living room face courtyard and only the kitchen faces the side street." So I think we're going to give it a go!

That's great. That would put my mind at ease too. And it's far better than so many of those apartments that are fourth or fifth floor walkups!

I can vouch for VIP. We rented from them this past spring, and had a very good experience. They are very professional and easy to deal with.

Enjoy your trip!

Just wanted to follow up on our stay. The overall experience with our stay was positive. The folks at VinP are great, very responsive, honest and helpful in every way. Would definitely work with them again. The apartment was in a great location, and although it was on the ground floor with single pane windows with high potential for noise issues, it was exceptionally quiet. Building was quiet and so is the area. The apartment itself, while spacious, is pretty shabby. It could do with some deep cleaning and even some new paint and a bit of refurbishment. It wasn't disgusting, but a pretty good opposite of fresh. I loved the area and would rent from VinP again, just not this particular apartment unless it got the needed attention.
