It looks to me like you are doing everything right. Suggest that you look at http://tinyurl.com/2y9zvv. Also read the operating manual for each of your devices. It is possible that the devices deliver less power when running at 240 volts. If so this should be written someplace. If you don't have the operating manuals with you they are probably available as pdf downloads on the internet. Do a search.

Greg's answer counds correct. I've never experienced this problem, but have never used a converter.
