Another Paris Tour Guide Rec?

I e-mailed Michael Osman 1 1/2 months ago and have heard nothing. Any other thought son someone who may pick me up at the airport, bring me to a few sites & bring me back? I will have about 8 hours.

You will really only have about 4 hours by the time you factor in travel time to and from CDG and the time required before the flight.

Do you have 8 hrs free time not counting the 2hrs or so you have to check-in before the flight?
You probably know what you're doing so an alternative guide that may be able to help give you a quick whip-around Paris is Anthony Atkielski - website:
atkielski.com
Hope it works out for you.

Anthony can't do it & Michael hasn't returned an e-mail from months ago. Any other ideas?

I don't have any recommendations as I've never used one. However, I think the main tour companies may have some services like that, you could ask. For example, this section of Cityrama's website says you can contact them about individual services:

http://www.graylineparis.com/en/service_plus

There is also a long list of various guides/interpreters, etc. with licenses in that section of the Paris Tourist OFfice website www.parisinfo.com

Go to trips and tours section, then in the middle, click on "guides and interpreters"

Send me an email at [email protected] and I'll give you the name and email of my old friend and veteran tour Paris guide, but I can't promise she (or anyone) would want to zip out to the airport, zip you into town and haul you back out there for such a short time.

I booked a day tour for May with Michael Osman as well. In the beginning he E-mailed me and was in touch and we had a plan, but since then, NOTHING! I have E-mailed and called and left a message on his phone. No respnose in months.

I am ready to write it off and just figure it out on my own.
