Amsterdam Hotels

I am trying to find accomadation for about 100Euro per night of less in or around amsterdam. I need a double ensuite, clean. I am happy to travel on the public transport. I need to get toe the RAI conference centre daily and my partner will be exploring amsterdam. Preferably would like to be somewheer with transport links warly am and up until midnight so we don't get stranded. Any ideas. We are staying 5 nights in late september. Most places seem to be hostels with shared facilities.

HELP!!

I find inexpensive hotels difficult to find in Amsterdam! Try www.venere.com or www.eurocheapo.com

100E is difficult even for a B&B - the www.venere.com is good as you can enter a price point. Also there is a hostel in the Jordan area - The Shelter Jordan - that is a Christian hostel so it might be an option with not the ususal hostel crowd. Maybe look for a B&B in Haarlem - train connections would be frequent to central Amsterdam. Good luck!

The #4 tram will take you directly from the south canal ring area to the conference center. Here are two in the gorgeous canal ring area (and a short walk to the #4 tram line):

Very nice double, en suite rooms (€89/night) also in a killer location. Website takes a while to navigate...

Are two twin beds OK? Here's one in a killer location, en suite, and €85/night.

I think you will struggle in Amsterdam in September. There are series of major events at the RAI, and hotels book up early and charge a lot because they know they will fill up.

Hotels.com usually has some good offers on hotels so you could look there - you usually don't need to pay a deposit when booking though them either, so if you find something you like better it won't cost you anything to cancel.
If you don't mind something a bit whacky have a look at www.qbichotels.com - they have a hotel near the WTC so also near the RAI.

You could possibly consider the Ibis near Schiphol. It has a free shuttle to Schiphol running from 04.30 to 01.30. You cold then get the train in.
However the cost of the train may counteract the cost of the hotel.
Likewise with staying somewhere like Harlem.

Here is one (double, en suite, canal view, €90) directly on the #4 line in a very charming area and walkable to the tourists sites:

...and a transit map, FYI:

Thanks for all the suggestions. I had a look and to get a room with a bathroom they were in the region of 800Euro for the 5 days. We are obviously going to be in Amsterdam at a very busy time.

I have given up and booked near the airport. It's clean (on pics and reviews). With the slight savings, i'd rather spend on the train and have a clean room with a bathroom. I think i may get a travel card with my conference package so will just need to pay for my partner. Hopefully it will work out.

Thanks Again
