Amsterdam at the end of November?

I've never been.

I'll be traveling with a friend, and this is the only time we can both get time off from work (within the next year)

Oh yeah, I'm asking about the weather here. Is it a similar climate to Paris?

Thanks

Generally cooler than Paris, since it is nearer the sea. Can be wet in November but we normally also get some really nice days.
Daylight is short then, but that shouldn't affect sight-seeing or night-life at all.

We were in Amsterdam a couple of years ago at the end of Nov and it was incredibly wet. One day we just sat in canal boat, going round and round as the rain was torrential. Having said that though, it was so easy to get into all the magficent Art Galleries and other sights. That far outweighed the wet feet!

worse than Paris - a really dreary time - I have been in Amsterdam several Novembers - dark, wet, short days, long nights (not bad in Amsterdam for some!) but not real cold.

But Amsterdam in any weather to me is fantastic!
