Just booked two tickets on AA from LAX to FCO (Rome) for Sept/Oct. Fares were about $2241 yesterday for both of us but today were $1241!

Go ahead and book!! The sale lasts only a few days plus they offer limited number of seats for the price!

That seems very good. I read they were having a sale to some other place, also, but I forget where -- maybe Paris.

The AA flights I booked a couple of months ago from HOU - FRA for Sept - Oct are $800 pp now versus the $700 pp I paid. Glad I got my tickets when I did!

Noodle around on itasoftware.com for some great AA fares in Oct-Nov. I checked the 30-day option for mid-Oct through mid-Nov for SFO to Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfort, Rome, Munich. Found the best deal was to Frankfort, $584 RT all-in for mid October.

OMG! I was about to post about it as well when I found out about the HUGE drop in price, but I guess Magic beat me too it.

I've been watching fares DFW-CDG for mid-Oct since April!!! I checked fares at least once a week, if not more often, and prices have been at $1020pp the entire last 3 months.

I happened to check for the price today after work (no, AA didn't announce it as a sale), and it dropped to $652pp (same fare code).
