Alhambra Tickets via Ticketmaster - Session not available

Hello Fodorites,

I am trying to buy tickets for the Alhambra this November and I am not being offered any dates at all, it just says Session not available. It says this no matter which ticket option I choose. Anyone else have this issue? I emailed their support yesterday but got no response. I will be there on Saturday November 10th and think it is best to buy in advance.

http://www.ticketmaster.es/nav/es/mu...nk&canalMB=ALH

Any advice?

thanks,

You may be too late for November 10th. Why not call and ask?

Strange thing was there were no dates at all available. I will try to call I figured emailing would be easier but received no response.

Ticketmaster's FAQs say that "session not available" does not mean that there were no more tickets.
But that the event's organizer (the Alhambra in your case) has blocked or suspended the sales via Ticketmaster for whatever reason. Maybe this is just some malfunction of corresponding data bases, as also the Alhambra's website seems to experience some problems.
So if Ticketmaster does respond, maybe the Alhambra's TI contact will clarify the situation.

Rather that buying through ticketmaster, have you considered using the official site? I believe it is:

Thanks, unfortunately that site just points to Ticketmaster for online purchase.

Thanks to you both the Ticketmaster site is making me crazy but I'll keep checking back.

Worst case I can buy a guided tour.

Sorry I didn't notice that, BrklynTraveler! Ticketmaster was not the official site when I went. I just checked a different website, which says that all tickets for Nov. 10 are sold out. I don't know if that's true -- just letting you know. It seems a bit strange to me, though, because it seems to suggest that ALL tickets for ALL times for ALL options through Nov. and later are sold out. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Here's the other site I checked:
http://www.ticketmonument.com/tickets-alhambra.php

Good luck!

Thanks, actually it is November 8th or 9th that I need. I fly home on the 10th. I'll keep trying and hopefully it will be working soon. I think the whole thing is down as I tried dates in December and January and got "Session not available" no matter what dates I put in.

I just spoke to them and here is an international number you can call, however, the fellow I spoke to thinks it is a temporary incident and the available tickets will reappear

There are plenty of tickets for those two dates.

If the web never shapes up, here is the number

00 34 958 926 031

We visited in November 2102 when we were staying in Andalucia for a few months and just bought tickets on arrival at the Alhambra. No problems with availability at all.

Buying tickets to Alhambra is really complicated. Low season you can purchase tickets at te entrance, but high season impossible. Here is a very good guide from buying them online to picking them up in the Caixa ATM: http://www.globalcitybreak.co.uk/tip...s-for-alhambra
