Argh, getting error message, probably due to Australian credit cards not being accepted.
Tickets are selling out fast, I'm not sure what to do
Tried calling this number +34 958 926 031, but looks like it's not operational too

esj,
If you are staying at a hotel, why don't you ask them to purchase the tickets for you? That seems to be something a lot of the hotels will do for patrons.
I'm happy to say that I was successful and now have both my day tickets and my night tickets!

Thank you, called owner of the apartment we are staying and she bought tickets for us!
One thing is strange, we wanted to visit Nasrid Palaces at night, but for some reason on 21 of May (Thursday) there is no tickets for 10 PM, but heaps of tickets for 10 PM on all other days?

A group of some kind, perhaps?
I just find it funny that the choice is between 10pm and 10:30pm - not a huge difference, one way or another!

OK, I'm sort of confused (not unusual). I bought our tickets (Alhambra General) with an 11 a.m. entry time to Nasrid Palaces. It had the entry hours to Alhambra from 8:30 - 14:00 hours. Does that mean we can enter the grounds anytime after 8:30. Is it better to pick up tickets at the bank in Granada or at collection terminal in Alhambra. Thanks.

We decided on the palace. We have a bad tour director, however (me). I didn't know the night tours were not available Sunday. so we are doing both the day and night tours on the same day. I believe a siesta will be in order that day.

Will try to book for 8:30 AM and Nasrid Palaces 10:00 AM, should be plenty of time (which as I understand includes not just walking, but also long queues to get into palaces?) >>
we arrived at the entrance at about 8am, had breakfast in the cafe along with the tour guides [the only other people there] and then went into the alhambra at about 8.30. we strolled down to the main complex looking at a few of the things on the way, [ruins and shops] and then saw the Fortress, which is also a special item on the ticket, but it doesn't matter what time you go in. Then we entered the Nasrid Palaces just after 10.30, which was our listed time, with no queue. But there were already a lot of people inside, and we didn't linger that much, mainly because we'd seen it the night before.
then we toured the rest of the main site, had a quick sandwich lunch and made our way into the Generalife before the end of the morning session [2pm] which is essential if you want to see the Generaliife.[friends of ours who got there just after 2pm were refused admission].
So, to answer your question Tom, you not only can but should enter the site before your 11am palace entry time. you will need all that time to see the other parts of the site and to make sure that you get into the Generalife before 2pm. once you're in, you can spend as long as you like - I think that we were there until at least 3.30 pm. if you want to get a good view of the Alhambra, try to get a bus from outside the Alhambra to the Albaicin, and then walk back down.
When we went, there was no night tours of the Generalife, just the Nasrid palaces. I don't think that it matters whether you see them at night before or after your day time tour, so long as you see them.

I'm thinking "start of November, 2015" for this visit. I assume there will not be crowds at that time but the weather will still be pleasant (relative to my native Canada)....
Someone please tell me if I'm wrong.

"We'd like to do the night visit the following evening...palace or gardens?"
I night visit to the gardens was not an option when I was there. But FWIW, My night visit to the Nasrid Palace remains one of the most magical moments of my life.
