Al Ponte Antico - Venice
Just wondering if anyone has actually stayed at this hotel. Still struggling with our Venice hotel selection, This one has availability and is about 80E per night less than Hotel Moresco. No canal view rooms are still available.
I thought I was going to be able to stay at Al Ponte Mocenigo but when I went back and reread their email I realized that they were telling me that they were available beginning the day after we are to arrive in Venice. Unfortunately we can't change our dates.

I stayed there two years ago at Thanksgiving and loved it. Canal rooms were booked but I had a lovely and huge room which was very quiet. Excellent location near the Rialto Bridge. The owners, the Peruch family, also own the Locanda Orseolo which is also a wonderful hotel.
Highly recommend!

How many nights are you in Venice? Would it be worth it to you to stay one night in one hotel and then move? I've done that in the past, it's not as much of a hassle as you think, although it's not cheap (water taxi).
I really like the Al Ponte Mocenigo.
