From Malpensa Airport, take the Malpensa Shuttle Bus (4.50 Euros) or the Malpensa Expess Bus (5.50 Euros) to the Centrale Station, from where you board a train to Venice Santa Lucia. The Buses leave from outside of the arrivals level, doors 4 and 6. They arrive at the southern side of the Centrale Station, where you go up escalators to reach the train tracks. Travel time by bus is a MINIMUM of 50 minutes. You should allow three hours connection time from flight touchdown to train departure. This will allow time to collect checked bagage, travel to Centrale Station, buy train tickets, and board the train.

I 'overnighted' at FCO once. Not the most comfortable place to spend the night - but what airport is?
There are several overnight buses to FCO from Rome (Tiburtina station). Alternatively you could consider an early morning limo/taxi, e.g

Hope this helps ...
