Airport transportation Stockholm

Any advise on a ride from the airport to our hotel in Stockholm? We are traveling with 2 senior citizens so I don't think public transportation would work.

The Arlanda Express train is not difficult. I know many seniors who use it regularly.
Seniors get a discounted fare(50%?) which you can get a regular ticket machine in the airport.

I agree with HappyTrvlr. The Arlanda Express is very easy to use...and it's quick too. http://www.arlandaexpress.com/start.aspx

The Arlanda Express takes you to the Stockholm central station from where you can take a taxi to the hotel.

The other two options you have is to take the airport bus or a taxi.

The end station for the airport coach is at the Stockholm central station, but it stops several places on the way there. Depending on where your hotel is, the airport bus may be a good option for you.

Taxi from the airport may be expensive. You must get a fixed price from the driver. If he drives with the meter running it will be extremely expensive. If the driver is not willing to give you a fixed price, walk on to the next taxi.

@peg715 Hudiksvall is quite a distance north of Stockholm. You may find that going there by normal rail service is a good option. Check out http://www.sj.se/
