Affordable eating in Milan
Hello Again!
Thanks for all the great tips I have received on my upcoming trip. I would welcome any comments on affordable places to eat in Milan while I am there. Places not just that are written up in travel books that cost an arm and a leg, but where the locals eat for a taste of real Milan.
Thanks!

In Milan there are a few up scale
caffeterias, very nice, full of elegant
people, one I believe it is called
Peruggia, I might be wrong snpiy yjr name but is you ask in your hotel they can surely point them up to you. Food is excellent the only missing thing are the waiters.

Jean: at the dentist's!!!
SarahD: for lunch your best option is IMHO the several self-service restaurants, where you will be able to eat a decent pasta and some vegetables for 10 euro or less. The main chains are Ciao and Brek, bot decent. In the center of Milano, near the duomo, check out the vegetarian fast food Coco's (www.cocositalia.it/htm/homepage.htm) in via San Prospero.
For dinner, two of my favorite are Mandi and Baja sardinia, which I have described in this forum several times, check out my past messages, I will write about them again in ase you can't find the old messages.
