Aerflot
Im trying to book flights between Colombo and Malaga and a few of the best options use Russian Aerflot through Moscow. Does anyone have experience to advise me if this is ok?

Yes of course it is OK. Are you changing airports or terminals? Is that why you are asking? You shouldn’t need a transit visa if you are in/out same airport or in/out same terminal. If not, transit visas are easy to get.

well, I wouldn't say "of course" given they had a terrible safety record.
However, according to this article, they've really improved

Thanks for your opinions. I did read the scary stats on accidents but on the end I found flights with Turkish through Istanbul ... and they offer a free tour pf Istanbul during the layover. Now if Aeroflot did that in Mosow I would have been very tempted.
