Advice on Restarant in Paris

We will be staying at the Brighton hotel, and need to get some reservations made for Chistmas Eve and Christmas Day. Would like for them to be close by and would like enjoy some of the Paris chefs cuisine. Many thanks

jelane - It's getting a tad late for obtaining a reservation at one of the top end restaurants, so I would think so maybe you should get advice from the hotel as well.
Best of luck - I hope you have a wonderful time!

Hi J,

If it is the Brighton hotel on rue Rivoli, the concierge will be your best contact.

I just went to le Train Bleu for thanksgiving and LOVED it. I had the chicken liver puff pastry for an appetizer and the lamb for entree (with Delish bleu cheese au gratin potatos) and my dh had the escargot for appetizer and filet mignon with bearnaise sauce for the entree - cannot say enough good things about the place!

I had my birthday dinner at LeTrain Bleu in July. It was really very nice. My only complaint was that it isn't air condtioned, it was miserably hot, and we left dripping wet. That shouldn't be a problem for Christmas!

The lamb sliced from the cart with the blue cheese potatoes really is great!

Le Train Bleu was the site of a festive get-together for people from this and other message boards in February. A gorgeous room right inside the Gare de Lyon, with paintings on the ceiling portraying the destinations you could reach on the railroad.

Les Ambassadeurs in the Hotel Crillon is just a very short walk away from the Brighton if you're in the mood for Haute Cusine . . . big $s however . . . but wonderful.

You definitely need reservations at Les Ambassadeurs. I was there for Christmas dinner a few years back. Lovely.
