A good restaurant for lunch in Orvieto?
Ciao a tutti.
I don't seem to be able to find much on the forum about places to eat in Orvieto apart from the Zeppelin, which sounds good but maybe a bit too institutional, ie cooking school, James Beard, etc.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Another vote for I Sette Consoli. Our late five course lunch(2:30) was also dinner. Wonderful restaurant in a cave like space-they have terrace dining in good weather but was not available on our visit-too early in the season.

We had a very special birthday lunch at I Sette Consoli a few years ago.
The food was great and the service wonderful. We ate in the outdoor terrace on a beautiful day. I still remember the kindness of the waiter who picked a fruit from a tree on the terrace, washed it and cut it for my 2 year old grand nephew to eat.
The day has many happy memories for us.

I really liked Trattoria del Moro, located near the Clocktower, vicolo San Leonardo. You can also check this useful resource: www.orvietoviva.com/en/
