4 days in Paris
I am going with my husband to Paris in mid- November for a birthday celebration. I have been once and he has never been. I loved Le Marais district and would like to stay there in an apartment-- studio or one bedroom- does anyone know of a nice, reasonable place or recommend a hotel in the area?

I rent from Vacation in Paris , The garden Delight. It ia most cinventientlocated , afew blocks fron Pl de Vosges right aronud the corner from Pl St Catherine. Directly across the st are 2 patisseries , q wine shop. a fromeagerie, asupermarka a verger and a benk nearby, ^ buses right outside the door and St Paul metro a nfew yards down the street. There is an excellent bistro on the corner Le Bouquet St Paul and they sell Berthillion ice cream. Inexpensive for the quality!!
the apt has a comfortable bed , walk in shower . all equiptment it is small but there is less to tidy up that way,

Here's one on my list for my next visit:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/77470
Step to Musee Picaso, large, open plan, separated bedroom, PRIVATE TERRACE, and about $120/night. 2-night minimum.

We ended up getting a hotel usingour airmiles and unfortunately there were no Marais area hotels available-- but we are saving quite a bit of $$.
Now I am organizing our metro and museum passes and leaning toward a combopass.
My husband and I want to walk up the Eiiffel tower but every site I go to is for a tour- and on the Eiffel tower site you can only buy Elevator tickets.
Anyone know how to buy walking tickets only, no tour? I know that we can only walk to the 2 nd level and then have to take the elevator to the 3 rd level.
