12 Day Turkey Itinerary for End Sept
Hi All
We are a couple in our early 40's and vaccinated. We have visited Turkey twice in the past 6 years. We are again planning a 12 day trip to Turkey in last week of September
In the past we have visited Istanbul, Cappadocia, Marmaris and Ritz (Uzungol, Ayder).
This time our basic destinations will be
Istanbul 04 days
Antalya 04 days (a good resort with beach - Any recommendations for a mid range resort, under USD150/day)
We are still undecided on the remaining 04 days. We would like to explore a beautiful scenic town or any other recommendation which we may get from the group.
Thank you

The reasonably priced resorts with good beaches are mostly at Side. Sorgun (titreyen Gol). Lara, Kemer, Camalti, Patara.
If you are looking for a resort that can be cool or rocking, you can try Kas or Fethiye (flying to Dalaman rather than Antalya)
You can do Kas or Fethiye if you go to Antalya area first. Either way, a rental car is highly recommended for both natural and archeological sites.
Check for lycia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lycia
8 days will barely be enough for the natural sites, short cruises (Kekova/Ucagiz)), the many ruins, tea gardens, bars, beaches, jeep treks, etc.
