Covid travel requirements Slovenia back to Croatia

Hi, I did the research but I was wanted to confirm the travel requirements to go from Croatia to Slovenia and then to come back to Croatia. We are two vaccinated adults traveling with two kids under 12. Apparently we don't need anything for them to go from Croatia to Slovenia, but do we need a test for the kids to come back to Croatia since even though we're US citizens, we'll be coming back from EU rather than directly from US. Thank you.

Both Slovenia and Croatia are EU, but Slovenia is a Schengen country. They are different things. According to the site I read your under 12s don't need a test to re-enter Croatia. You do have to have proof of accommodation.
