11am Monday

The president of the European Council is calling for all member states to observe a 3 minutes silence on Monday at 11am. I will be working then but will observe this with my class. Lets hope that it is observed throughout Europe.

Thanks for the heads up. This is in support of the people of Spain, and a silent protest against terrorism, I assume?

yes, it is a silent protest. It would also be great if Americans could also join in.

Mary1 at llam, it will be 5am in the States on the East Coast, and 2am on the West Coast. While I agree with the moment of silence, most Americans will be sleeping at that time.
