Prayers for Flood victims along East Coast

I'm a big believer in intercessory prayer. Can I persuade you to join me in sending up hopes and wishes for lots of folks all along the east coast?

I too have been praying for all of the victims of the East Coast storm. May everyone be out of harms way.

Saw some footage on CNN this morning and ... man... it looks really, really bad. I pray that God will give these guys the strength to regroup and deal with all of this.

I hope Fodor's will delete all these religious postings being inflicted upon the forum. They're out of place, irrelevant, and just plain silly and superstitious. If they persist, you should expect a retaliation from the many posters who figure your deity shouldn't have flooded the lands in the first place.

hopalong, Why so hostile? I realize you are new but prayer is mentioned fairly often on Fodors. Just read any Freaky Friday Rants and Raves. The OP also asked for hope and wishes for the flood victims. And even though you don't pray, I am sure you hope the best for them.

No one is inflicting anything on you. If you find prayer offensive, don't open a thread with "prayer" in the title. With a little tolerance there is plenty of room for all of us here.
