111op's trip to Scandinavia (Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Bergen, Nutshell) -- and some London
Hi, it's a long report, but I should be done with it soon. It was great fun.

I met yk in London, as she remarked in her trip report.
I want to thank everyone who helped me plan this trip. And Bjorn's comments on the Nutshell trip were right on the money.

Hi elaine, I arrived in London on May 21 (a Saturday -- excuse to see the Caravaggio show), and left for Copenhagen the next day. Then I was back in London the night of May 29.
So the Scandinavia bit was about a week -- but a bit insane, as you'll see when you read the report.
My mom survived though (fortunately). The last couple of days were very easy (Nutshell trip, then Bergen, then London, and we didn't do much walking compared to the first parts of the trip).
We both needed the rest, I think.
Our last day in London was capped off by a really enjoyable lunch at Gordon Ramsay.
I'll check in again tomorrow.

I am enjoying your report 111op. Your Mum is quite the trooper and what a good son you are
I really want to dine at Gordan Ramsey's. If you can, watch his TV programme (Ramsey's Kitchen ??) and you will understand why his staff may appear somewhat shell-shocked.
Looking forward to hearing what you thought of the Caravggio exhiition.
regards Ger

Hi Ger, thanks!
I'd definitely recommend Gordon Ramsay (the set lunch was a good deal, I thought). I'd even think about going again and spending more.
I've never seen the TV show but have read that he has a really bad temper.
I'll have to read my Caravaggio pamphlet before blogging about the show.
Anyway, I'm nearly done. I corrected a few typos and added a few links. I should finish about blogging about Caravaggio and about Operaen in a day or two.
I'm surprised by how much I had to say -- I shouldn't take trips longer than a week (there'd be too much to write afterwards ).
