Where do you look for cruise deals?

Hello again!
I've been looking for cruises on Travelocity, Expedia and Orbitz. Any other sites or agencies that you recommend that I check? Please help!

Thanks.

There have been several threads here on this topic - you may want to try doing a search.
I like cruisecompete.com.
You have to know the exact cruise you want; then you post it and e travel agents will bid on it. You take the bid you like the best.
Watch for cancellation fees.
Vacationstogo.com is another good site to search for cruises (and prices).
Good luck.

All three web sites you (the OP) mentioned not only give you no discount from cruise line price, but some add booking fee. You can e-mail my agent Alex at [email protected] for best price and service.

Some cruise lines indeed do not discount. However you can get OBC but you will pay full fare. I have always gotten my best prices from Costco until recently. Harry at www.cruiseadventuretravel.com beat them pretty good. His number is;

I have found that there is a place that has good prices and service. That is cruisebrothers.com . I also subscribe to travelzoo.com and get their top 20 for the week on my email that pulls the best travel deals from all sources in one spot. Their site has all of them listed as well as send you the top 20 a week. They list on their site the best deals for cruises from all sources so I would check them out.They do all kinds of travel not just cruises, like hotels and air and car rental. If I were you I would check them out first and go from there. Good cruiseing.

I suggest you find a Travel Agent that you trust. The best will work with you and also bring you first rate service. A good agent will keep you updated on specials that would interest you and continue to bring you a good price and amenities. If you work with the same agent, you save time and money. Your agent will know your preferences and you will have a one on one relationship. The internet offers deals--but exceptional customer service may be lacking. High turnover in staffing and lack of training may be costly to you in the end.
Remember You get what you pay for.

What you say makes a lot of sense for a first-time (or an inexperienced) cruiser - which OP probably is.
Otherwise, experienced cruisers know exactly what they want, they are just looking for the best deal.
In fact, they probably tell the TA exactly what they want, rarely asking for advice.

Yes about the TA's and I find that alot of TA's work with just a few cruise lines because they have deals with them and you get the best deal they can get from that line but you can find a better deal for yourself for a better cruise on a different line. I don't mean thats with all the TA but I have found that most I have tried work that way.
