Ft.Lauderdale to Port of Miami

Anyone have any advice on limousine service to Port of Miami and return from Ft.Lauderdale Intl Airport? We fly out at 12 noon on the Sunday after return and the cruise line does not want to provide us ground transporation with that tight of a time frame. Experience tells me a limo should get us there in time if we get a priority embarkation. Anyone know the rates or recommend a service?

IMHO you are cutting it short!!
You could be held up in all sorts of ways--immigration, late arrival to port, limo not arriving on time. At least it is Sunday and traffic would be light. Have you ever travelled from Port of MIami to FLL airport?
Just be careful. Remember, even the experts (cruise line shuttle) wouldn't take you on as a customer.
Good luck!

I would think you would need red lights and a siren to get there- I would stay over if possible.

John:

We took a car from Ft. Lauderdale airport to Port of Miami and it was about a 45 minute ride (with a little traffic). We just found the first guy standing by a black Lincoln towncar at the airport, so I don't know the name of the company he was with. It cost $50.00. If you leave the ship by 9:00 am on Sunday you should have enough time to make it to the airport by 10:00, I wouldn't think there would be a lot of traffic at that time. But you do have to consider any delays in getting off the ship. There is no guarantee you will be off by 9:00. Maybe you can move your flight up a little? Hope this helps
