I booked my cruise through ecruises.com as I said previously. They sent me a list of all cruiselines phone numbers for questions. I called Norwegian and they did give me answers, so it really doesn't matter if you book direct through the cruise line, a brick and mortar TA, or a dot com TA, you can always call the cruise line. The money is yours and you are their customer. Dot coms can afford lower fares because of the volumes of tickets they sell.
Ask a cruise line who their top ten sellers are, you will find that most if not all are dot coms.

I have received the best service and prices from cruisequick.com
They are strictly internet but I find that they're ALWAYS available. I've sent emails with a quick question at all hours and always received a prompt response. Personally, I like being able to contact them anytime and if they reply and I'm not at home or near a computer, no problem. The response is always waiting for me at my convenience. I've now used them 3 times...the first time I was a bit leary of not having a "real" person but their prices were so much better than anyone else I contacted. They get an A+ for service and prices in my book! I like having prices, cabin #'s, dates, etc. all in writing...makes me feel more secure. Pat
