Best excursion for kids in Cozumel?
We will be in Cozumel for only eight hours on our upcoming cruise. What is the best excursion for kids, ages 7, 13,15? Should we buy the package through the cruise line or through a Cozumel-based company like the Cozumel insider? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Only 8 hours- that's great and average for a cruise!

Cozumel is all about water, Go to Chankanaab Park by taxi. You can snorkel, see a museum, swim with dolfins, eat lunch, rent chaises and snorkel stuff- spend the day.

Shopping is same old-same old, don't subject them to all that walking around.
Everyone will be happy and sunburned unless you bring stuff.

Have Fun!

My daughter did the Dolphin Swim --- and although the weather was too cool to spent time snorkeling and on the beach, Chankanaab looks like a great place for some fun with kids. She also enjoyed the ruin reproductions and the tortillas she received during the cooking demonstration in the Mayan "village".

Just returned from a cruise that stopped in Cozumel -- went to Chankanaab Park and really enjoyed it. Plenty for kids to do. Restaurants and bathrooms, too. Entrance fee is $10 per person. Took a cab there rather than doing an excursion -- that way you can come and go whenever you want to.
