Alaska shore excursions
I am debating whether to take the Mendenhall glacier helicopter tour<BR>vs. Misty fjords sea flight. Need re<BR>commendations if you have to choose <BR>one.

Gina we faced the same decision last year and took Misty Fjords flightseeing.If we had it to do again we would take the glacier heli trip instead.Misty Fjords was very nice but talking with other passengers and looking at some of their video the glacier seemed much better.

Can you do both? I was planning to do Misty Fjords in Ketchican and helicopter in Juneau.

Sure you can do both-but they are costly-I did. The heli ride was short but a great experience. The Misty thing was a little long but a "quieter" kind of pretty. If you choose one, I'd say, go for the helicopter and SIT IN THE FRONT!
