Sorry to ask another Alaska shore excursion question

I accidently posted this under the U.S. forum, so I am re-posting.
I have to choose between two expensive excursions in May. Cannot do both. Ketchican Misty Fjords flightseeing with lake landing or Juneau helicopter/glacier landing. I have reservations for the Misty Fjords but am having second thoughts. Should I choose the Juneau helicopter instead? Cannot decide which is better.

My opinion, both are definately highlights and top tours, this isn't the place to skimp.

But having done both many many times, I do give an edge to a glacier helicopter landing. Look at Coastal for the lowest cost and consider some cut backs elsewhere- overtime, etc to be able to book both.

Thanks BudgetQueen
What about Capt Larry's Whale watching in Juneau? It is half the cost of the helicopter/glacier landing and has some good reviews by other poster's. We could do both of these. Misty Fjords and whale watching. Does it lend another demension to our visit to Alaska?

I am a long time customer of Orca Enterprises, in fact 4 trips with them last year.

Only you can decide what your touring priority is?? Certainly you have listed 3 top tours. But with the difference in the whale watching and glacier helicopter landing being less than $100pp, it will take some further thinking on your part.

Oh, I know BudgetQueen! I love planning but I hate some decisions. My husband now says he prefers Orca so.....just tossed....We've been whale watching in Maine, never walked on an ice river...I think money has a part in his opinion

One last "thank you" to BudgetQueen! I finally made an excutive decision for the four of us. We are signed up with Orca (spoke with Capt Larry, told him Fodor's recommended him) He will meet us at his office in Juneau take us to Coastal Helicopters where we will do the helicopter/glacier landing, he will then meet us at the heliport and take us whale watching and then take us back to our ship. He had a schedule in hand of our ship and said he will be apprised if said schedule changes. I asked if we could get all this in and he said, "Of course, I'm Capt Larry!!" Cute.
