Which AI is best in Punta Cana?

We are trying to decide which AI resort is the best in Punta Cana, DR.
We are a couple celebrating an anniversary and would prefer no kids. We really LOVE the beach and swimming in the ocean and LOVE golf. What do you guys suggest:
Excellence Punta Cana, Iberostar Punta Cana Iberostar Dominica, Iberostar Grand Hotel Bávaro, Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana; Paradisus Palma Real? We really do not care about casinos or night life. Do enjoy restaurants. Mostly looking for a great beach with covered chairs on the ocean to relax!

Iberostar Punta Cana and IB Dominica will have children as they are family resorts.
Iberostar Grand is adults only and is wonderful.
Excellence Punta Cana is also a great resort with no reservations needed for dinners, great service, big beach, great pool and adults only.
I don't think Paradisus is adults only but it is a wonderful resort also.
You can't really go wrong with any of them.

I can only comment on Paradisus Palma Real...they have a 27 hole golf course near by....golf included you just pay for the cart..I don't think kids would be an issue at this resort.

Excellence is great, but do not expect calm ocean waters, Surf is rough, lots of waves, undertow.

We stayed there 3 months ago, loved it!
