We really weren't planning on staying in Ochi (just passing through really). With our trip being split equally between Negril, Treasure Beach, and Port Antonio do you think we're missing anywhere truly amazing? Do you think the Blue Mountain hike is worth doing?
Thanks again.

Holly, Anything involoving the Blue Mountains is definately worth doing. Another option to hiking is the downhill bike ride. We drove all the way up and that in itself was thrilling. Nothing like standing in the clouds! Besides, the price for the coffee up there is great! You can buy large quantities! The area is very scenic. Also, make sure to raft the Rio Grande is you have time. Very nice.

Thanks Andrea, This is our first time to the Caribbean, let alone Jamaica, so it's hard to imagine what it's going to be like. I don't think I'm brave enough to bike down the mountain!
Can't wait to try the coffee.

Holly, if you're only spending one night, Conley Salmon who owns Rocklands Bird Sanctuary/Lisa Salmon's in Anchovy
has a 3 bedroom cottage set way back into the mountainside forests of the birdfeeding station he might rent you for the night. [email protected]

I think both of tiv's recommendations are more interesting, but for about $100 you can have a 1BR suite at El Greco, up above the hip strip and Doctor's Cave beach (so good if you won't have a car, you can walk around to eat, drink, beach, etc.)
