wedding & honeymoon at a resort??

I only know of sandals and superclubs that have these type of packages. Is there any other resorts that do this? My fiance and I are planning it for late Feb, early March. Also, I would appreciate any insight on the weather, environment, etc. We have thought about Sandals Royal Bahamian and Superclubs Grand Lido Braco.

We were married at Young Island, St Vincent & Grenadines. It was just the two of us; we asked two other hotel guests to be our witnesses. The hotel arranged everything. I'm sure any resort can make arrangements for you.

Just about any midrange to upscale resort in the Caribbean offers wedding and honeymoon packages. It all depends on what you're looking for, style-wise. Something small and private, with a large emphasis on personal service? Or something huge and bustling, with a different entertainment each night and maybe a casino? A charming plantation house that offers amenties similar to an American B&B (these almost always have excellent restaurants on site)? A beach resort with a full range of water sports? Lush and tropical interior, with mountains and waterfalls? Or beautiful white/pink/champagne sand beaches that stretch for miles?
Private island resorts? Large, touristy islands? There's a pretty big selection out there--tell us some of your preferences and we'll give you some suggestions.

We would like a place that is romantic, beautiful views (especially the beach because this is where I want the ceremony to take place), lots of activities such as watersports, good entertainment, good food, and good service. We are in our mid 20s and want to go to place that is active. We were thinking of a couples only resort because we don't really prefer kids running around everywhere. My biggest thing is- which island is the best to go to during late Feb and early March? March.

Hello! I have actually been doing what you've been doing with the research for our wedding/honeymoon over the last month. I have found quite a bit of posts on this page and at aol travel (carribbean)We actually just put a deposit on our trip to The Virgin Islands. We are getting Married and staying at Frenchman's Reef and Morning Star resort in St. Thomas in May 2004. We decided on this location because of its lush tropical surroundings, lots to do for our 20 guests and you can travel all over the place from St. Thomas! We are really excited to go and the wedding pictures I have seen are gorgeous!!! Email me if you'd like [email protected]

Swept Away Negril would be an excellent choice.

My wife and I were married at Swept Away and stayed for our honeymoon. Excellent resort - first class - very unique.
