There is a large range of excellent resorts there to choose from, and they each have their own personality. I saw you want a similar experience to Anguilla, including restaurants. The restaurants in T&C are good, have incredible settings, but I will give the edge to Anguilla. (Just to prepare your expectations.) Grace Bay Beach is a long beach (people claim it's 12 miles) and the resorts are lined up more than in Anguilla. The one's to check out: My favorite is The Somerset, it's stunning. Regent Palms is more active, a more see and be seen crowd. Grace Bay Club is excellent, and has a Four Seasons/Ritz type atmosphere. Amanyara has a zen feeling, feels like Asia in the Caribbean-it has a gorgeous beach but is isolated, and a long ride to better restaurants. Point Grace is quiet, and small, so you get a stretch of beach pretty much to yourself. Seven Stars looks huge, it's the tallest property in Provo-they are new, the rooms are gorgeous, and so far the service seems to aim to please. There are others I could recommend, the accomadations are ultra luxurious, but they are more self-catering type places.
The best part of Somerset, it's centrally located around some good restaurants. You still may want to get a car (or taxi) and venture from it to Coyaba (do not miss), Coco Bistro, and Anocoana. The setting for Anocoana is out of this world, and their infinity bar is different from bars anywhere else, outside under the stars with couches, daybeds, and firepits. There are gorgeous beaches in T&C-even venture on a day trip to either Half Moon Bay or Ft. George, they are stunning. I've never met a beach in T&C I haven't liked.

Blamona, you must be the most well travelled person on earth. Your knowledge astounds me. Frankly, what I am worried about is that I have already seen the best (cap juluca) and nothing will be able to meet my expectations now.!!!

Have been to both Cap Juluca and The Somerset...so I can honestly say that in Turks you can not go wrong with the staying at The Somerset. Other resort s are nice...but there is something extra special about the experience at this resort. The suites are gorgeous as well as the entire layout of the property. It just has character.

I can't believe I forgot Parrot Cay! It's one of my favorite spots on earth. It's stunning, service the best anywhere, on a stunning beach. The only negative, being on it's on cay (island), you are at the same restaurant for all meals. They're good, but not on par with food in Anguilla. My personal ideal dream trip to T&C? split Parrot Cay (3 nights) with 4 nights at Somerset-perfect!
I do get around-I'm obssessed with travel. I'm always on the go, searching for the world's most perfect beach. Until then, I love giving my opinions on places.
I personally love Anguilla, it was my first Caribbean love. My husband loves T&C, is actually downright obssessed with it. The beaches in T&C are incredible, the water is the prettiest in the world.
