It is a "good" basic place for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. It is "great" for families with kids.

bar none, the best do not miss restaurant in Provo is Coco Bistro. It is upscale and expensive.

Saltmills Diner is like a typical dinner, good basic food. It usually closes around 8, so it's better for breakfast and lunch, or an early dinner. It's completely indoors, so all the other restaurants feel more like you're on vacation. But it does fit the bill for cheap fast food.

ok, we're going to pass on saltmills. going to Coco Bistro sat. night loooooved the conch salad at conch shack and went to horse eye jack for the lobster buffet. those who chose the buffet loved it! (i don't eat lobster, but it looked great). saturday night is coco bistro

so, looking for a place for tonite and friday nite. once again, the quality of the food is paramount, be it fancy or not.

Mango reef at royal west Indies is excellent

Friday's at O'Soleil at The Somerset resort is fantastic, live music , ask for a table in the garden . It is the friday night hotspot with great food, pricey but good!!

appreciate everyones input, my H reminded me that while good food is important our group of six is inclined to casual fun places like horse eye jacks, our meal at mango reef was ok but boring.

Magnolias?? reviews are mixed. your thoughts?

Magnolia-great seared tuna--best on island BUT, they tend to rush you so, we do not order right away.
yes, Mango Reef may be boring but,we think the large varied menu is great.

The Tiki Hut has been a bit hit or miss lately. And for some reason they have been abandoned by many of their local regulars who have taken up residence at the Shark Bite.
